At I.G.N.I.T.E the Flame Tutoring we aim to personalize every session to meet the needs of our clients, and focus on areas in which the student has the potential to improve. Each session is flexible and designed to work with the student to not only complete their daily tasks, but guide them from novice to professional. We do that in the most effective way possible—mastering the subject area and building lifelong, professional confidence.

Chantal Brown
Owner/Founder
Chantal Brown is the woman with the insight and the desire to help our future improve, one client at a time. She holds a Bachelor's in English from Grambling State University, a Master's in Education from the University of Georgia, and a Specialist from Piedmont University. Her desire to help our community grow is the driving force behind IGNITE's creation. She looks forward to seeing and being apart of the growth and change of her community.
Nyla Mayfield
Tutor: English Language Arts (Elementary, Middle, and High School)
Nyla Mayfield is a junior at the University of Georgia, pursuing a major in Psychology with a minor in Biomedical Physiology. Originally born in Oklahoma City and raised in Georgia, Nyla has a passion for anime, nature, and films. In addition to academic pursuits, she is a proud charter member of the Gamma Chi Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated."
Leviticus Smith
Tutor: English Language Arts/Basic Math Elementary (Kindergarten-2nd Grade and Middle School)
Mr. Leviticus Smith, hailing originally from the Middle Georgia region, brings a wealth of diverse experiences and academic achievements to his role as a tutor. Mr. Smith is a proud product of the Atlanta public school system, which has instilled in him a deep appreciation for the power of education to transform lives. Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and is currently pursuing his second Master's degree in Social Work from Saint Louis University, with an expected graduation date in July 2024, Mr. Smith is committed to continuously enhancing his skills and knowledge to better serve his students and community.
Klara Blarfian
Tutor: Reading/Writing, Math, History, and Spanish (3rd-College)
Hi! My name is Klara Barfian, and I’m a senior student at UGA studying Biomedical Physiology and Spanish! I tutor reading/writing, math, history, and Spanish to students starting from the 3rd grade up to college. I’m excited to help contribute to your child’s education!
Alexis Dukes
Tutor: Math/Science Middle Grades
Alexis Dukes is a Senior at the University of Georgia, pursuing a degree in Biochemical Engineering while on the pre-medicine track. She is currently on the Double Dawgs program where she will be receiving her Master’s degree in Bioprocessing and Biomanufacturing in 2027. She has eyes on a career in medicine and making a positive impact on people’s lives. Alexis’ passion for helping others drives her to excel in her studies and support others in their academic journey. When she is not focused on school, Alexis enjoys playing basketball, fishing, and jamming out on her guitar.
